It goes equally well with crisp vegetablesand fish or your best crispy fries ! Simple to prepare, this mayo makes everything even better, and as an added bonus it brings you the nutritional benefits of hemp oil.
Why choose hemp oil over sunflower oil? Thanks to its incredible omega-3 to omega-6 ratio of 1:3It beats all vegetable oils! Especially sunflower oil, which has the highest omega-6 content.
INGREDIENTS
🌿 150ml ofCannavie hemp oil (or 50/50 with a neutral-tasting oil)
🌿 10 cl vinegar
🌿 15 g mustard
🌿 1 fresh egg yolk
🌿 A dash of lemon juice
🌿 Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a bowl, mix the egg yolk with the mustard, vinegar and drizzle of lemon juice until smooth.
* Season with salt and pepper before adding the oil, as salt does not dissolve in oil!
Gradually drizzle in the hemp oil, whisking vigorously to emulsify. Continue until you obtain a smooth consistency. For the less athletic among you, you can use an electric mixer!
Taste, and voilà: your chanvronnaise is ready to sublimate your chips, and much more besides!
