Omega 3 and 6 are essential fatty acids. They are defined as "essential" because our bodies cannot synthesise them on their own and they must be found in our food.

This imbalance can promote a chronic inflammatory state in the body, potentially contributing to the development of many modern diseases. It is currently recommended to maintain an omega-3/omega-6 ratio of 1:5, which means one molecule of omega-3 for every five molecules of omega-6.

In the form of flourAdd it to your bread dough, pancakes, cakes... or simply to your smoothies or milkshakes to fill up on protein and fibre!

L'hempseed oil will give a wonderful spring flavour to your dishes, while providing you with a considerable quantity ofomega-3. It is only consumed cold to preserve all its nutritional virtues.
