Caesar salad with hemp seeds

Looking for a tasty alternative to the classic Caesar salad?

Say goodbye to chicken and anchovies, and discover this vegetarian version full of autumnal flavours! 🍂

➡️ Chicken replaced by caramelised parsnips and carrots
➡️ Anchovies swapped for capers and Worcestershire sauce
➡️ All enriched with hemp seeds rich in protein and omega-3. 

INGREDIENTS

For the Caesar sauce (serves 4) :

🌿 1 soft-boiled egg

🌿 2 or 3 cloves of garlic

🌿 20g of Cannavie shelled hemp seeds

🌿 40g Parmesan cheese

🌿 d'Cannavie hemp oil

🌿 olive oil

🌿 capers

🌿 4 tbsp Worschester sauce 

🌿 salt, pepper

Salad garnish :

🌿 1 molet egg per pers.

🌿 1 large lettuce

🌿 1 Red cabbage

🌿 Caramelised carrots and parsnips 

🌿 Raw chicory

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Blend all the ingredients for the sauce together.
  2. Caramelise the parsnip slices and carrots. 
  3. Arrange the boiled egg, lettuce, carrots, parsnips, cabbage and chicory on the plate.
  4. Garnish with your delicious Caesar sauce.
  5. Sprinkle with Cannavie whole hulled hemp seeds.
