Le CBD (Cannabidiol) est une molécule phytocannabinoïde produite par la plante de chanvre. On le retrouve principalement dans ses fleurs et ses feuilles. Longtemps controversé, il a été reconnu en 2017 comme safe by the WHO.
Le CBD est non psychotrope, sans accoutumance et ne présente aucune toxicité avérée.
Il existe plus d’une centaine d’autres molécules cannabinoïdes produites par le chanvre, comme le THC (Tétrahydrocannabinol), le CBG (Cannabigérol), le CBN (Cannabinol), ou encore le CBC (Cannabichromène). Tous peuvent interragir avec notre système endocannabinoïde.
