- Zero viscose: our yarns are made from materials of natural plant origin and their fibres are processed using only natural and mechanical methods.
- Zero waste: an innovative production system that generates less than 1 % of waste, i.e. 10 to 15 times less waste than conventional garment factories.
- Short circuit: solid materials sourced as close as possible.
- Oekotex Standard 100 certification for all our materials.
- Belgian and local production: our fabrics and the assembly and finishing of our products are made exclusively in Belgium.
- Ethical production in a small family business in Tournai, with real wages. None of the employees' income is subsidised by the state.
Caring for your hemp dishcloth
- Rinse your hemp dishcloth with cold water and wring it out before leaving it to dry : if you wipe liquids that are rich in tannins, such as wine. wine, the coffee or the tea, chis will prevent tannins bite into the fibres of your sponge and darken the colour.
- Hang your sponge by its composition label for faster drying.
- Squeeze your sponge glove dry. Do not twist it. Manual wringing with excessive twisting could break the cotton assembly thread of your glove. A cotton thread assembly allows you to compost your product at the end of its life. However, these threads are not as resistant to stress as polyester threads.
- If you need to throw away a pot of boiling water (cooking water, leftover boiling water in the kettle, etc.), Take the opportunity to pour it over your sponge. Leave to cool so as not to burn yourself, rinse if the water contains organic residues (starches or other), and off you go for several weeks of odour-free use.
